A Dream Carried by the Breeze
Designing and building SuBreeze House was a lifelong dream—guided by the gentle breeze of the Kenyan coast.
I wanted the house to feel like you are stepping into something magical. Something rare. Something you didn’t even know you were looking for.
The old, reclaimed Swahili doors became the beginning of this story—carrying the beauty, history, and soul of another time. Around them, local artisans carved wooden details by hand, while coral stone tiles swirl across the floors in gentle circles, almost as if welcoming you inside. The SuBreeze story continues through warm, natural materials, flowing from one space to another, where every curve, every mark, and every imperfect detail was chosen with love and intention.

Meet the People of SuBreeze
SuBreeze House is a residential home, and our wonderful team is an important part of what keeps it feeling beautiful, cared for, and welcoming.
Dickson, our house manager, Brenda, our cleaner, and Steve, our gardener, look after the house, gardens, and everyday details that make SuBreeze feel like home.
With their knowledge, care, and helping hands, they make sure everything is running smoothly and that our guests feel well looked after. Because SuBreeze is a home rather than a hotel, guests may see our team around and inside the property during the day as they care for the house, gardens, and shared spaces.
To respect your privacy. Bedrooms and bathrooms are only entered for cleaning at a time that is convenient for you, and we are always happy to adapt to your wishes.
